Junge Stimmen (Young Voices) offers a participatory concert experience for all. A dialogue between Early and New music is created in an intensive artistic process with Cantando Admont and the Grazer Keplerspatzen youth choir. Side-by-side with pros, both literal and figurative resonance can be experienced — a sensual immersion in polyphonic sound worlds. A new, open-structured work by Annette Schmucki and the rarely performed mass for twenty-four voices by Annibale Padovano (1527–1575), one of the Graz court orchestra’s most important composers, are performed. The beauty of old and new vocal music — spectacularly brought to life together.
