The Grazer Keplerspatzen combine musical excellence with a vibrant sense of community: Music takes centre stage, underpinned by a strong sense of unity and great dedication among the members, all of whom are pupils or former pupils of the BRG Kepler. Since its foundation in 1967/68 by Fritz Haselwander and Ulrich Höhs taking over as director, the choir has developed into a versatile ensemble with a broad repertoire ranging from early to contemporary music. Despite constant changes in membership, the sense of community remains a defining feature. Rehearsals, singing camps and performances at home and abroad foster musical excellence and personal development – a combination of professionalism, joy and a lasting ensemble culture.
