Voidness of Touch
Every stone was once liquid, nothing in this world is rigid, everything is constantly changing shape, everything is in motion: This is what Gil Delindro points out in his art. He does so with the aid of a host of different media – he draws, photographs, makes films, performances, installations and music. But Delindro has a particular affinity for sound. He likes to work with organic materials, using his hands and contact microphones to explore the make-up of their surface, examining them under the microscope, always focusing on the immediate moment. Sand, water, soil, leaves – over the years the artist has collected all sorts of things on his extensive travels. In search of peculiarities of the location, he will also be exploring Graz’s Schloßberg ahead of his performance at musikprotokoll.
