Gil Delindro is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on the conflicting relation between ego, nature and technology. Through an extensive cross-border practice, tracing filmmaking, installation and performance, his work offers a bridge between media and research perspectives. As a member of collectives such as Srosh ensemble, Sonóscopia (Porto) and Blind Signal (Berlin), his work has been presented in a variety of locations, from rural areas to New York, Toronto, São Paulo and Europe. A regular performer in Berlin’s echtzeitmusik scene, his work is mostly based upon field research in diverse isolated landscapes. Currently he is one of the chosen artists taking part in the three-month residency in the Sahara desert.
