The competition is a cooperation of the Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics of the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz (IEM) and the Association of German Sound Engineers (VDT), again in cooperation with ORF musikprotokoll.
The submission format is 5th Order Ambisonics. This is because many production tools are freely available and no license fees are charged. Participating in the competition is an important step for students into the professional world of pro audio. At the same time, attractive prizes await the winners.
