Olga Neuwirth is one of the world’s leading composers. She was a pioneer of audiovisual composition in the 1990s with her cross-genre art. Her artistic outlook has always involved multiple aesthetics, from film, literature, visual art, natural science and everyday culture. She is particularly interested in the interdisciplinary approach of an “art-in-between” that speaks to all the senses. She works with international top-ranking artists and has also always raised her voice emphatically on cultural and sociopolitical issues.
