With the Ensemble Zeitfluss, which was founded in October 2003, conductor Edo Micic, composer Kiawasch Saheb-Nassagh and saxophonist Clemens Frühstück want to present exciting developments in contemporary music and reveal the beauty that often eludes the general public. The Ensemble Zeitfluss seeks to perform forgotten, rarely played and unknown works. The programme’s concept is to approach a broad audience with selected works by great composers who are generally ignored in current concert activities. These works are juxtaposed with newly commissioned works. In the course of the past eleven years, Ensemble Zeitfluss has been able to firmly establish its reputation in the Austrian music scene through numerous highly acclaimed performances in Austria and abroad.
