Edo Micic (*1962 in Zadar, Croatia), began his studies at the Music Academy in Zagreb in 1981. From 1985 to 1987, he directed the Slovenski dom choir in Zagreb. In 1988, he continued his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, in the conducting department under Milan Horvat and Martin Turnovsky. In 1990 and 1993, he participated in master classes in Weimar with Heinz Rögner and in Vienna with Bruno Weil. Since 1995, he has been a lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, where he leads the Ensemble for New Music. Edo Micic has conducted numerous concerts in Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Graz, Bremen, Tehran, and Dubrovnik, working with various ensembles such as Klangforum Wien, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, and the Cantus Ensemble Zagreb. He has led many concerts with the Ensemble for New Music in Graz.
