Se-Lien Chuang (*1965, Taiwan) has live in Austria since 1991. Her artistic emphases range from contemporary music, computer music to audiovisual interactivity. Her work includes international productions, research, lectures as well as representations of compositions in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Since 1996 she is running Atelier Avant Austria jointly with Andreas Weixler, with key aspects in realtime/non-realtime audiovisual interaction and processing, computer music and algorithmic composition. 2018 Andreas Weixler and Se-Lien Chuang were awarded as the best European piece by the International Computer Music Association for their audiovisual interactive work.
