How close is it when two people who love each other compose together, continue to write the piece of chamber music, alternately, bar by bar, and finally note by note, after brief introductory compositions, how close is that? “When we compose something together, it becomes a third composer” says Isabel Mundry on the result of this closeness in the composition “Die Vorüberlaufenden” after an extremely short story by Franz Kafka. Meanwhile, Mathias Spahlinger works compositionally on the failure of words and sounds in view of the loss of beloved closeness, of the close beloved.
