Caroline Profanter works as a composer/performer in the fields of electroacoustic and electronic music and focuses on tape music, soundscapes, live electronics and no-input mixing. Born in 1985 in Bolzano (I), she studied computer music and electronic media at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (2007–2010). As an active member of VELAK (association for electroacoustic music) and Elektronik Teatime, she collaborates with various artists from the field of improvised music and creates public sound interventions with the Vienna Noise Orchestra.
