The Aleph Guitar Quartet has been devoted to contemporary music since 1993. In close collaboration with composers, sound engineers, and acousticians, it continues to expand the sonic and technical possibilities of the classical guitar. This work has led to a substantial and forward-looking repertoire that is constantly evolving, thanks to renowned and emerging composers. Andrés Hernández Alba, Tillmann Reinbeck, Wolfgang Sehringer, and Christian Wernicke regularly perform at festivals including MaerzMusik, Eclat, Warsaw Autumn, Archipel, Steirischer Herbst, Klangspuren, and Time of Music. The quartet is supported by the City of Karlsruhe, Goethe-Institut, ZKM, the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the State of Baden-Württemberg, and the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
