Martin Hiendl (*1986, Germany) studied composition with Beat Furrer (Frankfurt/Main) and Roger Reynolds (San Diego), among others. He started out as a composer of experimental concert music and has since ventured outside the traditional concert setting into performance installations and interdisciplinary realms, for instance with OFFSHORE, a collaborative work with the video and performance artist Monica Duncan. Martin Hiendl also works as a pianist and recorded Morton Feldman’s For Philip Guston with Rachel Beetz and Dustin Donahue. In addition to this, he performs under the name Laure Leander.
