rom its very beginning, ORF musikprotokoll was conceived as a media festival, with radio as its most important venue. All concerts and installations are recorded and documented so that they can be presented to the Ö1 audience.

With more than 20 broadcasts and some 1,200 broadcast minutes, musikprotokoll 2026, presented under the motto “Supernova”, is present on Radio Österreich 1. Among them were four live programmes with audience in Graz – Punkt eins, Kulturjournal Spezial, Ö1 Klassik-Treffpunkt, and Im Gespräch with Maria Kalesnikava – as well as the live transmission of the RSO Vienna concert from Helmut List Halle, which also reached audiences across Europe via the EBU network.
