It is with great pleasure that we can announce Heimo Lattner’s “Silbadores” and Ben Frost and Richard Mosse’s “Project concerning eastern Congo” (work title) are the 2 works that members of the EU funded project “ECAS - Networking Tomorrow’s Art for an Unknown Future” chose to commission in 2012. The quality of applications we received was outstanding, and our Jury deliberated long to select the final 2 out of 147 submitted projects from more than 30 countries worldwide. Additionally we chose the project “METAMUSIC” by Alien Productions for the this year’s artist in residency. We are excited about how the project “Networking Tomorrow’s Art for an Unknown Future” within the Network ICAS will help each of these artists develop their new projects.

Each commission carries with it a fee of 5.000 €and realization costs of a maximum of 5.000€ (in total 10.000€), and will be presented in 2012-2013 by the ECAS organizations involved in this call for entries, namely:
