zlata zhdkv or Zlata Zhidkova is a sound artist, performer and composer. With a background in classical flute and philology, she is interested in “unexpressed/able” that exist in between the perception layers and different media. Part of her practice is focused on spatial composition that approaches sound as a material for the space and the atmosphere. Apart from that, Zlata creates performances and installations with different materials and investigates the relationship between the object as an independent being, its physical qualities, sound and body.
