Wendelin Pressl (*1971 in Graz) lives and works as a freelance artist in Vienna. He studied at the Meisterschule für Malerei in Graz and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. His career includes numerous study stays and residencies in cities such as Rome, Budapest, Petömihályfa (Hungary), Judenburg, Tirana and Brussels. Pressl has been honored with several awards, including the Art Promotion Prize of the City of Graz, a State Scholarship for Fine Arts, and the Promotion Prize of the State of Styria for Contemporary Fine Arts. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and various projects in public spaces.
