Verena Dürr is an interdisciplinary writer from Vienna with a special interest in nature and social issues. She is part of the poetry band Smashed to Pieces and organizes a transmedia literature series called Kein Konzil! Musenküsse! In her solo project venerasinn, Dürr sets her poetry, as well as poetry close to her to music in dark lo-fi arrangements. In 2017, she competed in the Bachmann Prize reading competition. She writes essays and audio pieces and is currently working on her first novel.
