Founded in 1979 by Günter Meinhart, the ensemble STUDIO PERCUSSION graz has staged a considerable number of diverse productions. Exciting projects in the contemporary field, cross-border collaborations with musicians, composers and organisers in the fields of jazz and classical music, special programmes for children and young people, and a passion for its own music theatre productions characterise the work of STUDIO PERCUSSION graz. Concerts and music theatre productions at Styriarte, Wiener Festwochen, Salzburger Festspiele, Ars Electronica, Steirischer Herbst, the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Berlin Konzerthaus, as well as in New York, Paris, Seoul, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Athens and Budapest.
