Sara Stevanović

Sara Stevanović is a composer whose works often deal with social constructs, stereotypes, trends, post-everything and cute/absurd aesthetics. She is a fellow of the Akademie der Künste Berlin (Werner Düttmann Fellowship 2024/2025) and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Housing, Art, Culture, Media and Sport (Composition Fellowship 2025). Her music has been performed at Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik (GE), Frau* Musica Nova (GE), Radio France (FR), Tremplin de la création - Philharmonie de Paris (FR), MIXTUR Festival (ESP), KLANG Festival (DK), IMPULS Festival (AU), Limina Festival (AU), UML Festival (FIN), Music Biennale Zagreb (CR), Cantiere Internazionale D'arte Montepulciano (IT), etc. Sara received her Masters Degree in Composition from the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz (AU) in the class of Carola Bauckholt. She lives in Linz and is the president of IGNM Oö (https://www.ignm.at).
