Sanja Lasić (Dubrovnik/Croatia) first studied music pedagogy and theory at the Split Academy of Fine Arts, then music theory and composition with Clemens Gadenstätter and Gerd Kühr at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz. Her encounters with texts often flow into her compositions. She was awarded the Young Composers Prize of the City of Graz in 2011.
