Roland Kluttig

Since the 2020 season, Roland Kluttig has been the Chief Conductor of the Graz Opera and the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra. Previously, he led successful new productions of Paul Dukas' "Ariane et Barbe Bleu" and Karol Szymanowski's "Król Roger" there. In the 2020/21 season, he began with Mieczyslaw Weinberg's opera "The Passenger." He opened the 2021/22 season with a concert combining Strauss' "Alpine Symphony" and Haas' "concerto grosso for 4 alphorns." Kluttig also conducted Morton Feldman's opera "Neither" at the 2021 Salzburg Festival. From 2010 to 2020, he was General Music Director at the Coburg State Theater. He has conducted at many renowned opera houses and orchestras worldwide.
