Rainer Binder-Krieglstein
Rainer Binder-Krieglstein (*1966) is a freelance musician, curator and artist. After years as a drummer with Toxic Lounge, Fetish 69, Sans Secours and in various jazz formations, among others, he launched his solo career as Binder&Krieglstein in 2002 with releases on Zeiger and Essay Recordings. He has composed music for film, theatre and performances as well as commissioned works for festivals such as Regionale and Assembly. He has also been active as a curator since 2016, including at Café Wolf Graz. In 2025 he plays jazz drums in Bernhard Lang's opera Hiob and in the follow-up project processing Hiob. His work moves between electronics, conceptual art and improvisation.
