Rafal Ryterski (*1992, Gdynia) is a composer, activist, interdisciplinary artist and curator. His work is characterised by “genrebending”, the merging of different musical genres. In recent years, he has worked at the intersection of performance, theatre and multimedia. His work focuses on identity, LGBTQ+ experiences, and the critical examination of social structures. He studied composition in Warsaw and Aarhus and works as a lecturer in Poland. His music moves between concert hall, club and theatre and is performed internationally, including at Warsaw Autumn, Unsound, Darmstädter Ferienkurse and Kunstfest Weimar. He also creates installations and stage works using Max/MSP and SuperCollider and has received several awards and nominations, including the Paszport Polityki Award.
