Pôm Bouvier

Pôm Bouvier b. is an electroacoustic composer and also experiments with sound improvisation or sound installations. She attended the School of Art in Grenoble and Lyon (visual arts), studied electroacoustic composition with Lucie Prod‘homme and technical sound operation, electroacoustic composition and sound spatialization in INA (l’institut national de l’audivisuel). For several years, she took part in the creation of Street Theaters. She collaborated with choreographers, filmmakers, musicians, and other artists, and for each collaboration she built singular systems and instruments. Pôm Bouvier b. pays particular attention to space and acoustics and treats them as part of an immersive instrument. She describes her music as body music, because of the physical involvement it requires of her and the audience. Her compositions have been performed at several festivals in France, and also in Brussels, Athens and Buenos Aires.
