Patrick Hahn, born in Zürich in 1980, studied musicology, philosophy and German literature at the University of Cologne. As WDR journalist he covered the Wittener Tagen für neue Kammermusik and the concert series Musik der Zeit and ensembl[:E:]uropa 2004–2011. Works as author and presenter for such broadcasting stations as WDR 3, SWR 2, NMZ and the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn. 2012 Reinhard Schulz Prize for Contemporary Music Journalism.
