Otto Iivari is a Finnish electroacoustic composer and artistic researcher. He is a PhD student at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, specialising in spatial music. His compositions for multi-channel and immersive loudspeaker systems explore the relationship between physical movement and the dynamic movement of sound. His works have been presented internationally and have won several awards, including at the Student 3D Audio Competition, the International Sonosfera Competition and the Prix Russolo. He represents a prominent younger voice in contemporary spatial composition.
