Nick Acorne is a versatile soundartist, who works as composer, sound designer, interactive media artist and performer. Holding a degree in both classical composition, electronic composition and sound design, he combines acoustic musical instruments with DIY developed sensor-based instruments, game controllers, computer processed or generated electronic sounds. Acorne also creates different participatory performances (RemoteControl, BUY, PAY, RUBILOVO). Working over the years in the field of interactive art he combines his composer proficiency with programming knowledge and creates interactive sound installations for museums and festivals. He is a co-founder of the improvised music duo C.O.R.N! as well as Ninja Guru Studio and art collective Some Designers.
