Monika Schabus-Steffen, born in 1954, is an independent dancer, choreographer and physiotherapist. Diverse solo performances and premieres with contemporary composers, Franz Zebinger, Seppo Gründler, Josef Klammer, Kay Hoffman. Premiere choreography under the direction of Günther Schneider-Siemssen at the Maribor Opera. Teaches at the Performing Art Institute at the University of the Arts, Graz. Formed the group Freie Tanzszene Graz and teaches at the University Sport Institute. Dancer at Wiener Festwochen and steirischer herbst.
