As a pianist and a sixth-tone harmonium player, Miroslav Beinhauer (*1993, Czech Republic) focuses on contemporary music and the music of the 20th century. In the role of soloist, he collaborated with composers such as Klaus Lang, Bernhard Lang, Marc Sabat or Petr Bakla, with festivals like Ostrava Days, Moravian Autumn or Janáček Brno, and orchestras and ensembles including the Janacek Philharmonic Ostrava, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra or String Noise. Notable performances include Piano concerto no. 2 by Magnus Lindberg or Piano concerto by Esa-Pekka Salonen. Sought-after chamber musician, Beinhauer is member of the international Ostravská Banda ensemble  Recently, he has been involved in numerous studio productions, including album recordings of solo piano music. Miroslav Beinhauer is probably the only person in the world to master Alois Hába´s sixth-tone harmonium. In 2019 he recorded Hába’s only solo work for the instrument, Six pieces for a sixth-tone harmonium op. 37. Since then, Beinhauer has encouraged new repertoire for this unique harmonium.
