Marcus Schmickler (*1968), has composed numerous pieces for electronic music, chamber ensemble, choir and orchestra, that have been premiered by renowned ensembles and musicicans. He has published with a-Musik, editions Mego and Mille Plateaux, amongst others. He teaches music/sound at the MFA programme at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. Lately he is interested in an epistemological dialog with the sciences.
