Manuela Kerer

Manuela Kerer is constantly on the lookout for new sounds; she loves surprises and challenges. Her compositions have been heard in New York, Berlin, Vienna, Rome, London and on Lake Titicaca, among other places; they have won numerous awards and been performed by ensembles including the Neue Vocalsolisten, the Klangforum, the Korean Chamber Orchestra, the Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop Berlin, the Ensemble Meitar Israel and master musicians such as Julius Berger and Sarah Maria Sun. Manuela Kerer teaches at the Bolzano Conservatory; together with Katrin Beck, she is the artistic director of the Munich Biennale. She studied composition and violin and holds a PhD in psychology and law. In her compositions, the composer combines all these disciplines. Her works are published by Breitkopf & Härtel.
