Maja Bosnić (*1985, Belgrade) is a composer and performer from Belgrade, with a PhD  in music composition from Goldsmiths, University of London. She writes pieces for solo, chamber ensembles and orchestra, projects for electronics and smartphones in multi-media and interactive settings. In her music, she re-questions and examines accustomed phenomena in the process of music making, exposes them to concepts of everyday life, then resets them in compositions that often call for audience interaction in the performance. Bosnić’s works have been commissioned and performed at festivals, such as Impuls, CTM Festival, International Youth Arts Festival, Timsonia and many more. Her works are published by BabelScores and Score Follower. Since 2010, she manages and curates contemporary music projects, events, concerts and lectures at the Zabuna Association,an organization she founded to support the development of the new music scene in Belgrade.
