Madli Marje Gildemann (Sink) (*1994) is an Estonian composer whose artistic focus lies in seeking to further the means of concentrated listening and to translate various biological and physical such as osmosis, photosynthesis, transpiration and other phenomena in plants and trees processes into musical language. In addition to writing music for a wide variety of mixed ensembles and orchestras, she has also created music for theatre, dance, installations and animation in collaboration with various artists. Her works have been performed at the Estonian Music Days, Baltic Music Days, World Music Days, Al(t)chemie Festival, AFEKT festival and others. She is currently continuing with her master studies in the film, theatre and media composition department at the Zurich University of Arts.
