Lars Mlekusch

Lars Mlekusch (*1978 in Baden, Switzerland) is a conductor, saxophonist, and university lecturer based in Zurich. He has conducted at renowned venues such as the Musikverein Vienna and the National Concert Hall Taipei, as well as at festivals like Wien Modern and the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. He collaborates with leading ensembles such as Ensemble PHACE and Klangforum Wien. Mlekusch taught at the MUK Vienna from 2005 to 2017 and has been a professor at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) since 2015. He studied with Marcus Weiss, Frederick L. Hemke, Arno Bornkamp, and Claude Delangle and is a D’Addario as well as Selmer Paris Artist.
