Kico Correa teaches art and Silbo Gomero and coordinates the teaching of Silbo in the schools of La Gomera. He has participated in numerous reports on the whistling language Silbo Gomero, including BBC, ARTE, Time Magazine, and participated as a speaker in events for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, including the Tenth Anniversary of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and "Encuentro de Gestores de Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad", Madrid. He lives and works in San Sebastian de la Gomera.
