As a guitarist, chamber musician, and artistic researcher, Jessica Kaiser is dedicated to rethinking musical practice and developing innovative performance strategies. In recent years, her focus has been on gaining a deeper understanding of ensemble interplay as a complex expression of interpersonal relationships and intersubjectivity. Her performances, lectures, and residencies have taken her to renowned festivals and symposia around the world. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras in many prestigious concert halls. She is a member of two chamber music projects, the KAISER SCHMIDT Guitar Duo and Duo Karuna. In 2023, Jessica completed her PhD at the University of the Arts Graz with a dissertation on duo performance, interplay, and empathy. Her research has been presented and published at international conferences.
