Jacqueline George (*1988) is a sound/visual artist, living and working in her birthplace Cairo, Egypt. In 2017 she graduated with a Master’s degree in “Digital Games as an Art medium". She is interested in field recordings, coding and human noises and is looking for creative potential inside Cairo's sounds & noise. George is fascinated by how sound carries ideas and mental images. She experiments to create a special sound environment with different performances and visuals like surround sound system, light elements, interactive sculptural forms, contemporary dance, and videos. Her works are based on brainstorming and mind maps around self-image, universe and body, time, and invisible reality.
