The International Nothing is a psycho-acoustic clarinet duo from Berlin. Starting out in 2000 Kai Fagaschinski and Michael Thieke collectively compose multilayered sound sculptures using multiphonics, beat frequencies and difference tones as an integral part of their unique language. Their debut album mainstream was released by the Japanese Ftarri label in 2006. It was followed by two more, with The Dark Side of Success being their most recent release.
