Igor Zavgorodnii is a violinist, violist, composer and laureate of international competitions. He was born into a family of musicians in Ukraine in 1988. Zavgorodnii graduated and postgraduated [das hab ich noch nie gehört, ich weiß auch nicht wirklich, was er gemacht hat: He earned his doctorate/?Master’s degree]  at the Ukrainian NationalTchaikovsky Academy ofMusic  and also studied at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy. As a soloist and chamber musician he toured Austria, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Portugal, China, and Japan. He performed numerous premieres of works by Ukrainian and foreign composers, some of which are recorded by the Ukrainian Radio and released via the record labels Winter & Winter and KAIROS. Since September 2018 Zavgorodnii teaches violin at the R. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music.
