Händl Klaus
Händl Klaus, born in Rum, Tyrol, in 1969, lives and works as a writer and filmmaker in Vienna and at Lake Biel. After finishing acting school, he joined the company at Vienna’s Schauspielhaus, landing occasional television and movie roles on the side. He won the Robert Walser Award for literature and the Rauris Literature Prize. Among many other awards for culture, film, theatre and literature, he also received the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Award in 2017 for his film Tomcat. Händl teaches stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
