Grzegorz Pieniek (*1982) is a composer who studied composition from 2003 to 2008 under the guidance of Prof. Lidia Zielinska at the Academy of Music in Poznan. He continued his studies with Prof. Michael Jarrell at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Since 2009, Pieniek has been working as a freelance composer in Vienna. His work encompasses chamber and orchestral pieces as well as vocal and electronic compositions, which are regularly performed at various festivals in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
