The pianist Gilles Grimaître studied with Pierre Sublet at the Bern University of the Arts and in 2013 earned his master’s degree in music performance with honours. In 2013/2014 he got a scholarship to the Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie in Frankfurt/Main. He performs with various ensembles for contemporary music, including Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Contrechamps, Collegium Novum Zürich, and Ensemble Proton, and is a regular member of the young Ensemble Lemniscate in Basel.
