Andris Indans, the man behind Gas of Latvia, is deeply rooted in industrial music, but in his repertory of the past ten years we can hear almost the whole history of experimental electronic music. Constantly searching for new forms, he developed an individual style characterised by experimentalims and changeability, ambient sounds and contrasting noisy layers, and a blend of seemingly opposite sounds and feelings. Since 1996 Gas of Latvia has released more than ten albums and played many concerts in Latvia and Europe. Andris Indans also writes music for films, video works, dance & theatre performances.
