The Independent Waldorf School Graz is a private school with public status and its own curriculum, which is based on the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner and accredited by the state. The school encompasses grades 1–12 and focuses particularly on artistic expression and practical, hands-on activities. The Independent Waldorf School Graz is politically autonomous, non-confessional and largely funded and organised by the parents and the staff of teachers.
