Elisabeth Flunger is a percussionist, composer, performer and sound artist living in Vienna. She works as a soloist and in collaboration with improvising musicians and contemporary music ensembles. Flunger also contributes to theater and dance productions and gives improvisation and composition workshops for children and adults, and she conceives site-specific and thematic sound installations and performances.  Her favorite instrument is a collection of metal objects that she uses in concerts, spatial installations, and performances. She has developed special playing techniques for this set of instruments and composed a number of solo pieces.
