Dominik Grünbühel

Dominik Grünbühel (AT) works as a performer, choreographer and media artist. His media-independent approach in terms of playing expands the theatrical contract between the audience and VR, puppet theatre, visual concerts and performative film screenings. He has collaborated with Wiener Festwochen, Brut Wien, ImpulsTanz Festival, and Mercè Festival Barcelona, among others. Living Documents, a choreographic installation created with Charlotta Ruth, was also presented in academic research contexts such as the 2018 Alliances and Commonalities conference organised by the Stockholm University of the Arts. Grünbühel is the bassist and MC of Nifty's, an award-winning Nu-Klezmer band. He has taught Movement Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna since 2021.
