Christof Ressi is an Austrian composer, arranger, software developer and media artist. His musical work is situated between New Music, Jazz and Computer Music. He has a strong interest in interactive live electronics and audiovisual art. Currently, he is working on an extended series of pieces exploring the artistic possibilities of computer game environments. He arranges music for all kinds of ensembles and instruments, including big band and orchestra. He regularly performs as a duo together with clarinet player Szilárd Benes (Ressi/Benes). His music has been performed in various countries worldwide and has won several prizes, among others the Erste Bank Kompositionspreis 2021.
