Christian Rosales Fonseca (1993, Bogotá) is a composer, improviser and electric guitarist based in Bremen. His work moves between contemporary composition, free improvisation and transdisciplinary research. He is doing his doctorate in the binational programme of the HfK Bremen and the University of Groningen, funded by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. His research deals with colonial sound archives and indigenous sound ontologies of the Kágaba. He teaches at the HfK Bremen on decolonial sound practices. He has received scholarships from Musikfonds, DMR, DAAD-COLFUTURO and won the Manizales National Composition Prize. Member of projektgruppe neue musik, INCOMODO and KLAN(C-K), among others.
