*1961, Graz (AT), composer and music theorist, studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (organ with Herbert Tachezi, music theory with Alfred Uhl, composition with Friedrich Cerha). Professor of music theory and composition at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. In the 1980s he collaborated with TheaterAngelusNovus (e.g. Tod des Hektor) and the ensemble die reihe (also as a project coordinator, for instance for the Cage project at the Wiener Konzerthaus). Since 1990 he has been active in the field of fine arts (sculpture and assemblage); Japanese archery (5th dan).
